The Cannabis Regulators Association (CANNRA) is a national organization of cannabis regulators and state and territorial agency partners which describes its mission as seeking to "...to convene, educate, and support governmental jurisdictions responsible for implementing cannabis policies and regulations. We do this by fostering collaboration and coordination to identify and share best practices that safeguard public health and consumer safety, promote equity, and create regulatory certainty for industry participants."
Federal Cannabis Policy Change and Implications for States
At present, we have attendees from TTB, FDA, NIDA, and staffers from six congressional offices (HI - Sen Hirono, Schatz, and Rep Kahele, NV - Rep Lee, FL - Rep Deutch, and WA - Sen Murray). We are also still expecting to have Rep. Joyce (R-OH) open the meeting, and Rep. Blumenauer (D-OR) close the meeting. I am waiting on a possible addition of Rep. Perlmutter today…
