The Board discussed craft cannabis legislation, WSLCB’s interagency agreement with WSDA for testing, and WSDA’s stalled organic-equivalent Certified Cannabis standard.
Last Tuesday, the Committee heard two bills which would substantially revise cannabis advertising law and recommended passage of the home grow bill.
Four new cannabis-related bills were heard in the Senate on wholesale discounts, retail robberies, retail sales of CBD products, and industry labor standards.
Quality Control and Cannabis Penalties rulemaking projects were advanced and the Board was encouraged to support HB 2279 to establish a framework for craft cannabis in Washington state.
Revised cannabis penalties and QA rules were poised to be advanced at Wednesday’s board meeting and the WSLCB Director expanded on his testimony to the Legislature.
