An odd couple of cannabis bills were advanced to the Senate floor while seven remained in their respective rules committees ahead of house of origin cutoff on Wednesday evening.

Legislators had hundreds of bills to consider before the house of origin cutoff on Wednesday, then policy committees would renew activity - including on the first cannabis zombie bill.

Representatives passed legislation to better protect all patients who use cannabis medically, the WSLCB subpoena bill gets a hearing, and the House meets Saturday (as the Senate rests).

Senators unanimously passed a bill that may ban all CBD products in Washington state, and legislators would reconvene on Friday to potentially vote on two cannabis bills.

Two more cannabis bills were pulled out of Senate Rules, interstate was passed by senators, the schedule for next week has some surprises, and floor activity continues.
