WSLCB - Board Meeting
On Wednesday at 10am PT, the bi-weekly WSLCB Board Meeting was scheduled to recur.
- [ Event Details ]
- Several rulemaking actions were planned for the July 7th board meeting.
- Revision to CR-101 - THC (Rulemaking Project). During the June 29th board caucus, Policy and Rules Manager Kathy Hoffman confirmed her intention to re-file or otherwise revise the scope of the existing CR-101 for the THC rulemaking project to encompass synthesized delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (delta-9-THC). While the related policy and clarifying statements covered delta-9-THC, the description in the preproposal statement of inquiry was deemed to need revision. It’s Cannabis Observer’s understanding that any revision will necessitate a delay in subsequent regular rulemaking for 30 days.
- CR-102 - Criminal History (Rulemaking Project). As of June 8th, agency staff expected to introduce proposed rules on the criminal history rulemaking project on July 7th.
- CR-102 - Public Hearing - Vitamin E Acetate (Rulemaking Project). As of June 8th, agency staff expected to host a public hearing on the ban of vitamin E acetate from marijuana vapor products.
- As well, Cannabis Observer expects a substantial number of people will testify during general public comment. See the comments on synthesized delta-9-THC during the June 9th and June 23rd board meetings.
