Of 31 active cannabis-related bills, nine were scheduled for activity during the fourth week of the regular session of the Washington State Legislature - two weeks before the first cutoff.
Here’s a look at cannabis-related policymaking events on the calendar in the week ahead.
Monday February 6th
WA House - Session
On Monday at 10:30am PT, the Washington State House of Representatives (WA House) planned to convene in session.
- HB 1772, “Prohibiting products that combine alcohol and tetrahydrocannabinol,” was scheduled for introduction in the WA House on Monday morning.
- While at publication time it was already illegal for cannabis processors to infuse alcohol and for liquor licensees to sell cannabis infused products, this bill aims to spell out a prohibition on cannabis infused alcoholic drinks more generally.
