The PNW gears up for Seattle HEMPFEST starting Friday through the weekend.
Here’s a look at the week ahead.
TUESDAY: On Tuesday August 13th at 10am PT @ WSLCB, the weekly Board Caucus recurs.
WEDNESDAY: On Wednesday August 14th, the bi-weekly WSLCB Executive Management Team Meeting has been canceled.
FRIDAY: On Friday August 16th from 12-8pm PT @ Myrtle Edwards Park [ map ], the 28th annual Seattle HEMPFEST is open to the public. As a first-time participant at the “protestival” humbled by the respect and admiration I have observed people share for the event, I’ll point you to the official history and encourage you to seek out and talk about Cannabis Observer if you’re there. You can leverage the information on the “Advocating in Washington State” screen which Cannabis Observer rebuilt for Seattle HEMPFEST. Bailey Hirschburg and I will participate on the panel “Reforming 502: What When How?” on The Ric Smith Hemposium Stage at 12:45pm. Bailey speaks for 5m on the Share Parker Main Stage at 6:50pm or thereabouts. A great many of Cannabis Observer’s sponsors, donors, subscribers, and friends are scheduled to speak at the event, volunteer, vend, and make it a special weekend in Seattle – we look forward to sharing space with you there!
SATURDAY: On Saturday August 17th from 10am-8pm PT @ Myrtle Edwards Park [ map ], the 28th annual Seattle HEMPFEST is open to the public. Gregory speaks at 12:50pm and Bailey speaks at 1:50pm on the Seeley Black Stage.
SUNDAY: On Sunday August 18th from 10am-8pm PT @ Myrtle Edwards Park [ map ], the 28th annual Seattle HEMPFEST is open to the public. While HEMPFEST is free to enter, donate and/or become a member to support the work of this cannabis institution.
