Tuesday October 24th
WSLCB - Board Caucus
On Tuesday at 10am PT, the weekly Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB) Board Caucus was scheduled to recur.

WA HCA - DBHR Listening Session
On Tuesday at 1:30pm PT, the monthly Washington State Health Care Authority (WA HCA) Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery (DBHR) Behavioral Health Service Provider Listening Session was scheduled to recur.

- The event announcement indicated, “The call will offer program updates on HCA’s Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery and the office of Recovery Partnerships. A presentation on Oxford Houses will showcase recovery in action. There will be time for questions and discussion.”
Wednesday October 25th
WSLCB - Board Meeting
On Wednesday at 10am PT, the bi-weekly WSLCB Board Meeting was scheduled to recur.

- During the October 11th board meeting, Board Member Vollendroff acted as interim Chair and was joined by Board Member Ollie Garrett where staff presented a brief rulemaking update and detailed a revised process for reviewing petitions before presenting a batch tracking request. Then, members listened to supportive and accusatory general public comments.
- At that time, Policy and Rules Manager West Cassidy expected to ask the board members to approve filing a CR-101 to formally begin a new rulemaking project on Retail Medical Cannabis Endorsements during the Wednesday October 25th board meeting (audio - <1m, Video - TVW, Video - WSLCB)
- Received in 2022, the petition was discussed at length on March 28th and accepted on March 29th.
- According to West, a CR-101 to begin implementing changes and expansions to the social equity licensing program as encoded in SB 5080 would also be presented on October 25th (audio - <1m, Video - TVW, Video - WSLCB).
- During the September 27th Board Meeting, staff brought board members up to speed on social equity retail license applications and responded to questions on scoring, available retail allotments, and the process by which 40 applicants were advanced to provisional licensing.
