LoParco presented a very high level survey of budtender requirements across 20 State legal recreational markets derived from her research, primarily focused on categorizing criteria such as application fees, background checks, or formalized training regimes. Little detail was provided on training program curricula, and more emphasis was placed on the potential equity implications of criteria like prohibiting employment to individuals with prior criminal justice system involvement.
