WSLCB - Board Caucus
On Tuesday at 10am PT, the weekly Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB) Board Caucus was scheduled to recur.

- At the caucus on July 11th, the board heard how an environmental pesticides investigation was nearing completion along with comments from the incoming agency director and plans for staff focus groups.
- At the Executive Management Team (EMT) meeting the following day on July 12th, Director of Communications Brian Smith mentioned working with Associated Press (AP) journalist Gene Johnson on a follow up to his original reporting on the agency’s legacy environmental pesticides action.
- On Saturday July 15th, AP staff published the article, “Washington legal pot farms get back to work after pesticide concerns halted operations,” which was widely syndicated nationally.
Wednesday July 19th
WSLCB - Board Meeting
On Wednesday at 10am PT, the bi-weekly WSLCB Board Meeting was scheduled to recur.

- Also during the EMT meeting, Director of Licensing Becky Smith concluded her update with a discussion of agency preparations for the next phase of the social equity retail application process. She said that Social Equity Manager Aaron Washington planned to offer a presentation on Wednesday to help the board members and public understand “what these next steps look like in [the] next couple of months, and…what to expect…as Ponder [Diversity Group] finishes up reviewing all of these applications” (audio - 3m, video - WSLCB).
Thursday July 20th
WTSC - Commission Meeting
On Thursday at 10am PT, the Washington Traffic Safety Commission (WTSC) was scheduled to convene their quarterly meeting.
