Tuesday July 27th
WA SECTF - Public Meeting
On Tuesday at 9am PT, the Washington State Legislative Task Force on Social Equity in Cannabis (WA SECTF) was scheduled to convene.

- In addition to updates from the three work groups, the agenda allocates 30 minutes for discussion about “Overall Goals for Creating an Equitable Cannabis Industry.”
- Towards the conclusion of the meeting, Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB) Board Member Ollie Garrett will help lead a discussion of “Next Steps” during which she may introduce a new section of the WSLCB website containing resources for potential applicants of the next round of social equity retail licensure. On July 14th, WSLCB Director of Licensing and Regulation Becky Smith talked about planned updates to the agency website with “content to provide potential social equity applicants general licensing requirements and social equity information” and Garrett indicated she planned to request time at the WA SECTF meeting for “a demo.” At publication time, no changes on the LCB cannabis licensing screens were apparent.
WSLCB - Board Caucus
On Tuesday at 10am PT, the weekly Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB) Board Caucus was scheduled to recur.

- At publication time, the agenda for the weekly caucus had not been published. However, it was likely that conversation would turn towards the subject of synthesized cannabinoids given the publication of interpretive statement IS-21-02 regarding “Allowable Practices for a Holder of a Marijuana Processor License” following a presentation during a Special Board Caucus on Thursday July 22nd.
WA HCA - DBHR Listening Session
On Tuesday at 1:30pm PT, the monthly Washington State Health Care Authority (WA HCA) Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery (DBHR) Behavioral Health Service Provider Listening Session was scheduled to recur.
