Cannabis enthusiasts around the world reconsidered the meaning of 420 during a pandemic spread by social contact, as regulators and trade associations discouraged public gatherings.

High turnout shattered the concentrate ban bill (at least in the House), expansion of edibles may require work, and location compliance looks set to move forward.

Four new cannabis-related bills were heard in the Senate on wholesale discounts, retail robberies, retail sales of CBD products, and industry labor standards.

Revised cannabis penalties and QA rules were poised to be advanced at Wednesday’s board meeting and the WSLCB Director expanded on his testimony to the Legislature.

WSLCB Director Rick Garza spoke about restructuring agency enforcement and the Committee heard HB 2296 and HB 2300 regarding cannabidiol (CBD) products.
