The University of Washington School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (UW Psychiatry) is dedicated to improving the health of the public through clinical care, education, and research. The only academic psychiatry department serving Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho (WWAMI), they partner with healthcare organizations and providers throughout the WWAMI region to reach patients in need and to train the next generation of mental health professionals for the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
