The seven members of the Lynnwood City Council are elected at-large to serve the City of Lynnwood. All are elected for four-year terms. Each year the Council elects a President and a Vice President from within the Council. The City Council's primary duties are to make laws, adopt regulations and budgets, levy taxes, authorize public improvements, provide for public safety and health, approve board and commission appointments, and oversee a wide-ranging agenda for the people of Lynnwood.
